TRASH and CONSEQUENCES TRUST IN HEALTH CARE Workers at the Ohio Department of Health and Human Services and other government agencies are working on a new plan to make sure that the state can provide healthcare to all who need it.
The program will cover mental health, substance abuse and substance use disorders.
The new plan will also include expanded mental health services for the mentally ill, according to a news release.
The Ohio Health Insurance Plan will provide coverage for the uninsured.
Health officials are expecting the plan to be approved by the legislature in the next few weeks.
The state will also expand access to Medicaid and make coverage available to some people who are currently ineligible.
For people in poverty, the plan will provide additional financial assistance to help them pay for healthcare costs.
For the disabled, the new plan is expected to provide more coverage.
